Is there an allowance for over age players?
Could give Zaza , Payet & Lanzini a run out
Can't believe Payet will make his first start in a friendly v Italy so will be better off in Coventry.

sven, payet is already with the french squad and i presume zaza will be joining italy too.
rules, i believe, are that you can field 3 over age outfield players and an over age gk.

Also Chelsea's games are a week after everyone else's due to Europe (?) otherwise they wouldn't have entered.
Football League have royally fucked the competition up.

I had a vision of Zaza being crippled by an Italian squad scrote so that's good news he's been left out.
I expect Spiegel will return to the u-23s although I hear Nathan Trott our 17 year old Bermudan goalkeeper is impressing so far this season.

Joke compeititon. Seperate rules to cater for the U23 teams - eg, Chelsea playing their ties two weeks after everyone else. Bottom line is EFL went against majority opinion to allow the U23 clubs in. Even most of the top PL clubs wanted nothing to do with it.
If I was a Coventry fan I'd be fucking it off as well.
